As of September 1st, 2008, we will be the new owners of "Sylvanna's" at Marco Plaza and Sylvanna's will be discontinued. Brandi and Gabi and Tara, who will join us from Sylvanna's, will operate out of "Undine's on Young", #15, 8653 Young Road, phone: 604.793.0337.
Along with hair services, we will have our aestheticians rotating weekly to be there and provide waxing services.This exciting step will be celebrated with a grand opening within the next few weeks.
What happens next? The spa will be expanded, three new stations for pedicures added, and eventually a tub installed. We will also have an extra room for massages and body treatments. All these changes will enable us to accommodate you quicker and better. Quicker meaning that you won't have to wait too long to get an appointment.
New Antioxidant Measurement Tool
We have a wonderful new tool to measure your Antioxidants in your system.
What are Antioxidants? They can help slow down or even prevent our aging process. I am quoting Richard Cutler, M.D., Director, Anti-Aging Research, National Institutes of Health: "The amount of antioxidants that you maintain in your body is directly proportional to how long you will live."
That is a pretty strong statement.
How can we measure our Antioxidants? The device is called "Bio-Photonic Scanner". It is a tabletop laser that through hand scans can measure a person's carotenoid antioxidant levels, hence measures the efficacy of nutrients or dietary supplements you are taking.
We have this scanner on hand and are able to provide you with a personalized measurement of antioxidant levels in your system. Though it only takes 5 minutes, we suggest you make an appointment for the test, which is $10.
